CORE DRILL

LHC Type for rotary hammer drill

Hammering+Rotation

  • ■Large-bore drilling is possible even with small, lightweight hammer drills which have low striking force.
  • ■The inclusion of spiral design for swift swarf removal.
  • ■Center pin does not require guide plate.

◆Effective Length: 80mm

◆Matching drill: Rotary hammer drill

■Handling Procedure

  1. Handling Procedure 1

Screw the shank into the core drill body.

  2. Handling Procedure 2

Insert and set the center pin while aligning it with hole on the tip end of the shank.

  3. Handling Procedure 3

Attach to the lightweight hammer drill. This completes preparation.

  4. Handling Procedure 4

Only the center pin is required for positioning. Once complete positioning is made by drilling to a depth of approximately 5 mm, pull out the center pin and continue drilling operation.

■Drilling Data

Test conditions
  • Work material: Concrete, Drilling depth: 60 mm, Core diameter used: 35 mm
  • Motor used: BOSCH GBH2/20S 500W, electronic stepless transmission
Test Results
  • Average time: 3 min. 42 sec.
  • Fastest time: 2 min. 28 sec.

Precautions on use

  • electrical drills appropriate for the core drill used.
  • Be sure to turn off the main switch of the drill and disconnect the power supply plug from the socket before attaching and detaching the core drills.
  • Do not touch the core drill, the shavings, or the drilled hole because they may be hot.
  • Wear working clothes suitable for the operation, including eye protection equipment to prevent shavings from getting into your eyes.
  • Prepare the working environment before starting jobs.
  • Read carefully the instruction manual for the electrical drill used before use.
